Founder’s note
Let’s be honest: digital products are often beautiful but fragile. I built Flatstudio to fix this. We are not here to decorate pixels. We exist to solve complex equations involving high loads, real data, and business risks.
Our philosophy is simple: Think like an engineer, execute like an artist. We treat clarity not as a style, but as a function. Because when mistakes cost capital and trust, you don't need 'magic' — you need a system that works.

With all the travel and festivals, how do you ensure availability?
We travel to recharge, not to escape. Our "Roaming HQ" works because we stick to strict rigid rituals: daily standups, overlap hours with your time zone, and professional infrastructure (The Social Hub). You will always know where we are and when we are online. No disappearing acts.
How is "Engineering Design" different from a regular creative agency?
Regular agencies optimise for “wow” moments and campaigns. We optimise for systems and product performance. We treat design like code: modular, scalable and logic‑driven. Instead of drawing standalone screens, we build design systems, patterns and documentation that your developers can implement without guessing. That’s why our solutions always combine product & interface design, brand identity, web app engineering and marketing assets into one coherent system.
You say "No Yes-Men". Does that mean you are difficult to work with?
It means we care about your product too much to let you make a mistake. We challenge illogical decisions early to save you budget later. We are polite but honest. If we see a risk, we speak up.
I’m a non-technical founder. Will I understand your process?
Absolutely. Our job is to translate complex logic into clear visual language. We help you structure your chaotic ideas into a product roadmap that both investors and developers can understand.
Fixed price or Time & Material?
Depends on the chaos level. Fixed price for clear targets (MVPs). Retainer for ongoing product evolution. We hate surprise bills as much as you do.
We are in the US. Will time zones be a nightmare?
Not at all. We treat async as a superpower. We overlap for critical syncs, then we work while you sleep. You wake up to progress, not waiting.
What if I don't "like" the design?
We don't design for "likes". We design for KPIs. If we disagree, we use data and logic to find the solution. If it doesn’t work for the user, we kill it. No ego attached.
How do you hand off to developers?
We don't just send Figma links. You get a component-based system, documented tokens (variables), and a video guide explaining every decision to your dev team.
Are you an agency or a dedicated team?
Both. For startups, we are an agency (Sprint mode). For giants, we are a dedicated unit that integrates into your Slack and Jira (Embedded mode).
What about NDAs and IP protection?
Iron-clad. Every single team member signs a strict NDA before onboarding. We work with Fintech and Medtech, so data security is our default setting, not an extra feature.
Do you sign Non-Compete agreements?
Absolutely. If you need exclusivity in your niche, we respect it. We are here to build your advantage, not leak it to the market.
