Let’s be honest: digital products are often beautiful but fragile. I built Flatstudio to fix this. We are not here to decorate pixels. We exist to solve complex equations involving high loads, real data, and business risks.
Our philosophy is simple: Think like an engineer, execute like an artist. We treat clarity not as a style, but as a function. Because when mistakes cost capital and trust, you don't need 'magic' — you need a system that works.

Frequently Asked Questions
With all the travel, how do you ensure availability?
Travel is how the team recharges, not a reason to disappear. We keep fixed rituals: daily stand-ups, planned overlap with your time zone and work from professional coworking spaces. You always know where we are and when we are online.
You say "No Yes-Men". Does that mean you are difficult to work with?
It means we care about your product enough to challenge weak decisions early, when they are cheap to change. We are polite but direct: if we see a risk, we say so. That protects budget and prevents design debt.
I'm a non-technical founder. Will I understand your process?
Yes. Our job is to translate complex logic into clear visual language. We turn an unstructured idea into a product roadmap that investors, stakeholders and developers can all read.
Fixed price or Time & Material?
It depends on how defined the scope is. Fixed price for clear targets such as MVPs and audits. Retainer or time and material for ongoing product evolution, where priorities change sprint by sprint.
We are in the US. Will time zones be a problem?
No. We schedule overlap for critical syncs and use the remaining hours to move work forward while you are offline. You start the day with progress, not with waiting.
What if I don't "like" the design?
We design for KPIs, not for likes. If we disagree, we use data, logic and user needs to decide. If something does not work for the user, we remove it – there is no ego attached to a screen.
How do you hand off to developers?
You get a component-based system with documented tokens (variables) and a video walkthrough that explains every decision to your development team – not a folder of Figma links.
Are you an agency or a dedicated team?
Both, depending on stage. For startups we run fixed-scope projects. For scale-ups and enterprise we work as a dedicated team embedded in your Slack and Jira.
What about NDAs and IP protection?
Every team member signs an NDA before onboarding, and we sign one with you before any discussion of your product. We work in fintech and iGaming, so restricted data access and isolated project spaces are the default, not an add-on.
Do you sign Non-Compete agreements?
Yes. If you need exclusivity in your niche, we agree it in the contract. We are here to build your advantage, not to distribute it.

Flatstudio has worked with 100+ clients since 2014, with the deepest experience in iGaming, sports analytics, fintech and B2B SaaS, plus projects in GovTech and MedTech.
